Legalisation of documents
Legalization of documents – is an action that is carried out by the officials of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and consulates of foreign states in Ukraine.
Legalization of documents exist in two forms:
Apostille – is a special stamp, which is affixed to official documents of legal entities and individuals, which are issued by countries participating in the Hague Convention.
Consular legalization – is a way of legalization of official documents of a wider range, which relate to foreign trade. These include documents issued by the state or other official agencies of the countries that did not participate in the Hague Convention. Consular legalization is a more complex and time-consuming procedure, unlike apostille.
How to order the legalization of documents?

What is the process of legalization of documents?
1. The document is given for legalization of the relevant ministry or consulate, depending on the type of the document and country of origin.
2. A complete document is transferred to translation and notarization.
3. Translated and notarized document is given to the second round of stamping: Apostille in Ministry of Justice of Ukraine or legalization of the consulate of desired country.

Legalization of documents – is a rather complicated procedure which requires an intervention of a professional translation agency, that must have many years of experience of providing of services of legalization of documents.
